New Books + Summer TBR

Hello Readers 🙂

I hope you had a nice day 🙂
Mine was ok, I had an exam that I have now mixed feelings about..but I think it´s at least positiv! The better part of my day included book-shopping…that always makes my mood better 😛

I actually didn´t plan on buing books..but like so often they just found their way into my hands..it was destiny 😉

I am sure you want to know what I bought 😀 so here they are…

I held back and bought just two. “To Kill a Mockingbird” by Harper Lee was on my mind since a few days. I read it about two years ago, but in german. So I wanted to read it in english and now is the perfect timing because in a few weeks the “new” book of Harper Lee will come out and I so want to read that. And “A Discovery of Witches” By Beborah Harkness I bought spontaniously. I read about it a while ago and today it cought my eye and I thought..why not.

Today I decided to make a Summer TBR and write about it here. Normally I am not the type to choose a certain number of books that I want to read in a month or so, because it never works xD But I thought I´d try it again. So the next picture will show the books that I plan on reading during this summer.

From Top to Bottom: To Kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee; A Discovery of Witches – Deborah Harkness; Persuasion – Jane Austen;  The Invetntion of Wings – Sue Monk Kidd; Die Insel der roten Mangroven (Islang of the red Mangroves) – Sarah Lark; An Abundance of Kathirnes – John Green; Fanrgirl – Rainbow Rowell; The Secret Life of Bees – Sue Mong Kidd; Paper Towns – John Green;

I hope I read at least a few of them! Have you guys read any of those and can recommend, then please tell me 🙂
A few E-Books are also on my TBR for the summer, but they are all coming out during the summer, so I haaaave to read them..I am so excited, espaciall for the new Abbi Glines book!

xoxo

  1. I love those unexpected book shopping trips! Haha! Your to be read books look good. I’ve read the ones by John Green as well as Fangirl. I loved Fangirl and Paper Towns. An Abundance of Katherines was good, but not my favourite, there is an abundance of maths ;-).
